We leave the historic and classical capital of Greece and set sail on our voyage to Kotor in Montenegro. You will have plenty of time to relax, indulge in your favorite drinks on deck and anticipate the adventures ahead on your very own voyage of discovery.
Experience a day at sea in the breath-taking Ionian. The sound of the waves lapping against the ship will be your soundtrack. Slip into the hot tub, settle into a sun lounger with your book, or simply admire the horizon with a classic cocktail in hand. Or take the relaxation to the next level with a spa treatment. With a daily entertainment schedule, there will always be something to capture your imagination.
Where red rooftops contrast with crystal blue waters and towering peaks. Kotor’s spectacular bay is an awe inspiring backdrop to a medieval maze of stunning architecture, Venetian palaces, ornate churches, museums and squares sprinkled with cafes, bars and restaurants.
Kotor is a UNESCO world heritage site with a 2,000 year history that can be traced back all the way to its ancient Roman beginnings. This historic city is absolutely mesmerising. Explore the monumental city walls built in the Middle Ages and criss-cross the narrow streets to the most recognisable symbol of the city, the Cathedral of St Tryphon, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture.
Welcome to one of the most diverse, verdant and fascinating Greek islands – the seventh largest and the setting of several myths and legends. It is on Corfu’s shores where Odysseus was shipwrecked and sent on his way, and where the god of the sea, Poseidon, is said to have settled.
Corfu Town is cosmopolitan, charming and friendly. You can easily lose yourself here as you explore the narrow alleyways, soak up the atmosphere and meet the locals at one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants. You may be surprised by the Italian feel, largely thanks to the Venetian architecture, but you won’t be surprised by the Greek warm welcome.
Approaching Chania by sea, you might believe that you’ve landed on the banks of Venice – its old Venetian port will tempt you to discover more. Step into a picture postcard Greek Island town complete with pastel-coloured waterfront buildings, dreamy harbor walls and old-world aura.
As Crete’s second largest town and former island capital, Chania boasts museums, churches and culture that easily satisfy a day’s sightseeing. Winding streets, seaside restaurants and craft shops also make you slow down and settle into life at a relaxed Mediterranean pace.
We return to the capital in the morning after an exciting journey of discovery.
While your cruise may be drawing to an end, the tantalising city of Athens still lies ahead. Delve deep into the city’s sidestreets, bursting with life and culture.
