From the port, you’ll be transferred to one of the most stunning Palace Hotels in Oman, Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz Carlton hotel. On the way, you’ll stop to admire and snap photos of Al Alam Palace – official home of His Majesty Sultan Haitham. Known as the ‘Jewel of the Sultanate’, the Al Bustan Palace opened in 1985 to host the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit.

It occupies a dramatic setting on a former wadi (riverbed) beside the sparkling blue Sea of Oman with rugged mountains behind. At the hotel, you’ll enjoy an expertly-crafted high tea. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to stop outside the newly constructed Parliament of Oman, as well as the Royal Opera House, before returning to the port.
