The ‘dhow’ has been in use for centuries and is an essential part of Oman’s proud maritime tradition. Locals used to travel across and between countries by Dhow.
Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Muscat Coastline from the sea as you sail. After your return to the Marina, you’ll head to the official home of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq - Al Alam Palace for a photo stop. The palace is flanked by two forts, and makes for a stunning sight.
Then it’s time to bargain in the oldest souq of Oman, Muttrah Souq. Enjoy some time shopping in the mix of the old and the new amidst a dazzling 18th century merchant’s house, before finally returning to the port.
