Delicious dates and tasty cakes
First is a visit to the dates market. Dates are a significant part of Middle Eastern culture, and you’ll find thousands on offer here. In an array of colours and flavours , you’ll find them fresh, dried, made into syrup or jam, covered in chocolate or stuffed with nuts. Pick a few different treats as snacks, gifts and souvenirs.
From here, we’ll drive down the Corniche, one of the most iconic roads in Abu Dhabi, on our way to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. This majestic building is one of the largest mosques in the world, and has 82 domes of various sizes – a photo opportunity that’s not to be missed.
Our final stop is Etihad Towers, a complex of five towers that are some of the most famous skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi. You’ll head up to the Observation Deck at 300, in Tower 2, for a decadent afternoon tea with the most perfect outlook – uninterrupted views across the city skyline.
