We start our journey toward the village of Colmenar for a morning treat of hot, crispy churros dipped in thick chocolate. From there, we drive through the countryside to Alfarnate, stopping at an olive mill to see how "liquid gold" is traditionally extracted.
The heart of our day is a visit to a local family’s residence. You’ll be welcomed into their home to share conversation, learn about daily customs, and sit down to an authentic five-course lunch, including home-cooked stew, fresh salad, a main course chosen by "Mama," and homemade dessert served with local wine and liqueurs.
