From our starting point in Port Split, we’ll travel to the picturesque resort town of Omis , at the mouth of the Cetina River. Once a famous pirate town, Omis is now better known for its wealth of outdoor activities – from sea kayaking to scuba diving – as well as its historic forts and churches.
From Omis, it’s all aboard a river boat for a leisurely cruise to Radman’s Mills, where we’ll enjoy a forest hike along the stunning Cetina Canyon and an opportunity to drink in the unspoiled beauty of the area.
Finally, it’s back to Split for a walking tour through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, where your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the extensive grounds of Diocletian’s Imperial Palace. Explore the well-preserved remains of this massive structure, which encompasses temples, cathedrals, town gates and ancient cellars, as well as cafes, restaurants and shops.
