From mountain peaks to coastal scenery, this full day’s excursion explores the splendour of Musandam’s varied terrain.

Your day will start with a 4×4 drive to the top of Jebel Al-Harim – Musandam’s highest mountain. Enjoy the terraced mountain villages, lush forests and winding dry river beds you’ll see en route. Not to mention the panoramic views over the Indian Ocean from the Khawr Najid viewpoint. A stop at the idyllic Bedouin village of Sayah, located 3,000 feet above sea level will give you an insight into their traditional way of life, before you make your final ascent. A breathtaking view over the Hajar mountain range awaits you at the mountain’s peak.

From the grandeur of the mountains to the calm of the coast. We’ll drive from Jebel Al-Harim to the port at Kashab, where you’ll board a dhow for a soothing sail along Khasab’s scenic coastline. We’ll put down anchor for lunch on board, then swimming and snorkelling for those with energy left to burn. On the way back to the Kashab port you might just be lucky enough to see some dolphins, topping off an adventure to remember.
