Marvel at the dramatic contrast between its white marble exterior and the Middle Eastern sky behind. For more stunning traditional architecture, head to the UAE’s presidential palace. Made of granite and limestone, Qasr Al Watan Palace is very intricately designed. Walk through the Great Hall and extensive gardens and you cannot help but be impressed by its opulence and splendour.

For a more modern experience, drive along the Corniche Road with its distinctive skyline of skyscrapers, and the famous Emirates Palace Hotel.
